Intermedia

Woodland Hills, CA

What if you could tie a nostalgia for the past with a focus on the future in a way that suggests the evolution of media?

Innovation and the ability to offer all in-house capabilities were primary client characteristics necessary to express in the design.  A comfortable balance of forms, spatial layout, and material relationships was sought in response to this, studying of the history and future of Media and how architectural intervention could convey the interconnectedness of that subject matter as well as the interests of the client. The client’s scope of operations had grown to encompass a multi-faceted collection of media based pursuits which through the study of digital and analog concepts/imagery, a series of fluid architectural features were conceived which physically fuse many of the different disciplines, directions, and work areas of the office while establishing a bold and identifiable visual presence.
